About The Event
Shutter drag is a technique that exercises different photographic exposures in 1 lesson. During this event you will learn:
How to use ambient light to expose the background and record motion blur as you or your subject move while the shutter is open.
How to use the flash to illuminate and freeze your main subject sharply within that same exposure.
The difference between Front/Rear curtain sync that will determine where the motion blur will render and the effects on the end image.
Using this technique you will be able to create a layered, energetic effect often used in events, parties, and artistic portraits
Using this technique will also give you a better understanding of exposing for portraits and other events regardless of dragging the shutter.
