2026 Annual HCPG Photo Contest

Join the Harford Photography Group for its annual photography competition. This year's categories are: Emotions,  Minimalist, and Small Things Made Big.

CATEGORIES:

Emotions  - Images that capture or evoke human feeling—joy, sadness, anger, fear, love, surprise, or anything in between. 

Minimalist - Photography that emphasizes simplicity and strong visual clarity. Often featuring clean compositions, negative space, limited color palettes, and a single clear subject.

Small Things Made Big - A creative look at tiny subjects presented in a way that makes them feel important, larger-than-life, or visually dominant  

How to submit:

• Submit no more than FOUR (4) photos via the form below.

• File names must include image title, underscore, and photographer's full name, as: TITLE_FIRSTLAST.jpg  (i.e. JoyousMorn_BethTribe)

• JPG format no larger than 5MB in size

• Longest (dimension) edge must be no more than 1024 pixels

• Resolution of 72 pixels per inch

• sRGB Color space

• DO NOT include borders or watermarks on the digital images you submit

• Photos must be taken from 31 Oct 2025 - 31 Oct 2026

• $5 for each image submitted. Gold Members can submit 2 images for free, then $5 for each additional image with Max of 4 images.

• DEADLINE to submit photos November 1, 2026 (11:59pm)
