About The Event
Join HCPG for a very special guest speaker.
Shem Compion will talk about his latest book and journey documenting the greatest geological scar on the planet. The Rift- Scar of Africa is a book based on the paradox of a geological marvel torn apart but serves as a binding fabric.
Shem brings together decades of pan-African travels to focus his lens on its cultures, wildlife, environments, landscapes, and the origins of humanity itself. With many never-seen-before images, The Rift seeks to inspire a more creative and conscious engagement with the world we share and the future we shape together.
Shem Compion is an adventurer, nature photographer, creative, author, photography hide builder, and co-founder & Managing Director of Africa’s C4 Photo Safaris where he has been leading and hosting specialist photographic safaris throughout Africa since 2005.
He celebrates creative photography by exploring every aspect of the natural world, making him one…
